Sending your child to FCS

Curriculum

The principles in Psalm 1:2-3 show a blessed man has his delight in the law of the Lord, where he meditates day and night. The outcome is he is planted deep with purpose, has evidence of growth, and prospers, not just survives, in life. A rigorous, biblically centered curriculum is a vehicle to accomplish this in the thirteen plus years your student will spend in school. Flagstaff Christian School chooses the majority of its curriculum from well known Christian publishers for two core reasons: the truth of God is embedded and is foundational to all of the content presented throughout the day and publishers of Christian curriculum have the reputation and research outcome of their textbooks and courses being more advanced than the offerings from secular publishers. At FCS it is a core value that our students master content at least a year ahead of their grade level. The curriculum from Christian publishers allows us to meet that value, not just give it “lip service.”
